The Able Movement is a grass roots organisation to bring about change – to “raise the bar” on our belief in the capacity of people living with disability.

This website is your online platform to create the change you want to see in the communities where you live, work and play. It is a place you can connect with others who share the same values.

Whilst we encourage members to participate freely, the views expressed by Able Activists on our site are not in any way endorsed by the Able Movement Ltd. All contributions made by The Able Movement Ltd will be clearly identified with our logo.

These Terms of Use outline the terms and conditions upon which you can use our website to share, chat and act.

1. Accepting our Terms of Service

When you “join”, create an Able community, create or participate in a forum, submit your story, create or join a project or tick the box next to the words “I agree to the Terms of Use” on our website, you signify that you accept these Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them.

2.1 You can use our website to make comments and upload material that;
a. does not promote hatred, violence, discrimination or stereotypes based on race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality or religion;
b. respects the views of others;
c. does not insult or bully another person;
d. does not infringe the rights or threaten the safety, of others;
e. is not offensive, illegal or defamatory.

2.2 When providing information about yourself it must be true, current and complete.

2.3 When you provide us with your email address and, at your option, your mobile phone number, you consent to receiving messages (including by email, SMS and/or MMS) from us and our related bodies corporate and trusted partners in relation to information and causes that we think may be of interest to you.
